Happy Halloween!

Just a quick update from us... Olivia is very excited to go trick or treating this year, she knows it means candy! She tends to say "trick or treat please!" it's so cute! She is going to be a flower gnome as planned and I think will not have a problem wearing it. Especially if it means getting candy in return! We will probably go around the neighborhood just a little and then there is a carnival I think we will take her to. It's indoors and has games and crafts- and is free, so it should be fun!
Last week, Olivia painted a pumpkin and was crazy about it. She loves looking at it every day and saying "I paint that!" or "painting pumpkins!" we never carved one, but I may carve a little one with her today so she can feel the insides.
Happy Halloween everyone!

Updates

Well John just bought me (and surprised me at work!! So exciting!) with the new iPhone! I have been having a lot of fun taking pictures and playing with it.
John went to Yakima last weekend for pheasant hunting while Olivia, Jenny, and I went up to greenbluff. It was more crowded than I've ever seen it, but there were pony rides- Olivia's favorite!! Her pony name was caramel corn. She loves every second of pony rides and does so well on the pony! We also looked at some pumpkins while up there, but it was just so crowded it was hard to focus! We had fun though. Then the next afternoon Jenny and I took Olivia shopping and to the park! This park was in the valley and is so fun! It was closing for the winter the next day so I wanted her to play there one last time.

Well I am doing this from my phone and not really sure why the photos are coming up in a weird order. Hopefully I will figure it out!

Olivia's 2nd birthday!

Well Olivia's 2nd birthday has come and gone.. I am now the mommy to a busy 2 year old! How did that happen!? We had such a fun weekend. It went by fast but we had a great time, and I know Olivia did too! She loves seeing all her relatives and friends.

Her party was a rainbow theme which ended up being really easy to do with all the primary colors. Just a bit time consuming with everything I did do! I made tissue poms, did a colored polka dot wall for photos, a wreath for the front door, and a birthday banner using paint chips for the mantle. I also borrowed some cute fabric polka dots from BrieAnne for the tables! I think it came together really well with the multicolored plates and rainbow cake too! Olivia didn't nap at all on the day of her party, but did very well! She was running and happy most of the time until she finally crashed at 7 pm asking to go to bed. "night night please!" She loves sleeping with her dolls these days and she picked out her 2 new fabric dolls to sleep with that night. One I bought her, and one Amanda made her.

Here are some photos from the day!

After the party was over- our neighborhood was having a end of the summer party in the park. We walked down there for a few minutes to let Olivia jump in the bouncy castle. She absolutely loved it! She did hit heads with one person at the end, but that was bound to happen in there! She went down the slide once and did great!

Happy 2nd birthday to my sweet girl! We love you!
