Some photos from yesterday. Olivia's hair is getting so curly! It is wet with water in a few of the pictures. Otherwise it is a puffy mess! She is doomed to have my hair... Anyway in the afternoon Brenna came over to play and we had a lot of fun!

Running all over the house now getting into things... she prefers to walk/run now. Here she is below trying to figure out the baby gate. We need to make sure it is latched,not just shut at all times because she knows how to open it if not!

I am rushing off to work in a minute, but really wanted to put up the few pictures I got this past weekend. We made a quick trip to Vashon on Saturday and spent the night, so we could see my grandpa in his new place on the island. The room was really nice and he seemed very happy to see us! We also got to fill up the bird feeders outside his window so he could see the birds more. He took a fall outside last week so that is why his hand is bandaged. Mom takes care of it every day and does a great job!

Olivia got an early birthday present from a co-worker of mine. She made her some apples for her party that are actually stuffed rattles, and the cutest little ruffle butt onesie ever! I was so excited I put it on her as soon as she came home yesterday.

I think I may try to make one of these very soon with my new sewing machine!

Fair

Everyone knows I love the fair. I was *so* excited to bring Olivia to her first fair! We went the weekend after my birthday and had a lot of fun! The weather was perfect an we got to eat fair food, look at the animals and walk through all the aisles of infomercial products. Olivia seemed like she really liked people watching and looking at the pigs. By the end of the afternoon she was tired of the stroller and wanted to sit on daddy's shoulders.

Sorry I have been SO behind in updates. Life has gotten busy this last couple weeks and I have gotten behind. Olivia is practically running around the house now. It is amazing how fast she has picked it up! She can walk from the living room into her bedroom if she feels like it! She has also really gotten into pointing at everything and saying "uh" in sort of a high pitched sound. It sounds almost like a question, and is very cute! She has her top teeth coming through, but she doesn't seemed bothered by it other than being on a napping strike the last week or so. I think that has more to do with her age though. She is overall very happy but just does not want to nap! I guess she took a 45 minute nap yesterday and a second 10 minute nap. Thats pretty much her nap schedule these days. She is eating everything in sight and likes the peaches I got at costco as well as her string cheese. I would say cheese and fruit are probably her 2 favorite food choices. You can barely cut it up fast enough for her! We are slowly switching her to whole milk now since there was a recall on formula (for having beatles in it- gross!) and the can I had at home of some free similac was in the recall. In the trash it went! Hopefully she likes her warm bottle of milk in the morning! I am curious what John tell me about it! Anyway that is sort of our life right now. Also, I am busy trying to plan for her birthday, so I am very excited for that!

11 months

Sweet baby girl, you are 11 months old. Time is flying by and you will be 1 years old in 1 short month! I have been planning your birthday for the past months or so and I hope you like it!

11 month info:

-You are 20 lbs even

-You wear size 3 diapers

-You wear 9 month and 12 month clothing.

-You have 2 bottom teeth! You have your own toothbrush and toothpaste now, so we brush your teeth every night.

-You just started taking steps this last month. You started with one, an I think you have done 10 or so. You get so excited most times and try to run. I think you would do a bit better if you walked more slow!

-You still sleep through the night and go down so easy for sleeping (both naps and night time)

-You take 2 naps a day. You usually go down around 0830 for your first one, and sleep 1-2 hours. Usually your second nap is around 1pm and for an hour or so. Bedtime is usually around 7pm! You normally wake up around 6 but play quietly in your crib until 0630 or so. You are such a good girl!

-You love to eat. Recently you ate so many blueberries from Chelan, I think it upset your tummy a little, so we have to slow down on those! You also love cheese, bread, chicken nuggets, ham, peaches, mango, bananas, crackers.... Those are just some of your favorites. You still aren't a big fan of meats for the most part. You also like to feed Martini when you are done eating.

-You have been saying mama a lot lately, but no other noticeable words.

-You still crawl super fast and try to get into everything! We have to keep a close eye on you. When you get going somewhere you shouldn't you usually squeel with happiness so that is a good clue you are doing something naughty!

-Your hair has gotten so long and light, and is getting curly in the back!

-You are still the happiest baby girl I have every seen! You are always smiling and laughing and are so fun to be around. Many people can't believe what a happy girl you are! You are so easy to take care of and we love you more and more every day.
