6 month appt.

Olivia had her 6 month check up today and she did great! Her stats:
weight: 16lb 3 oz (67%)
height: 27 inches (89%) TALL girl!!
head: 16 3/4 inches (53%)

She got her shots and cried a little but fell asleep quickly on our way home. We need to start giving her fluoride in her bottle once a day since we don't have it in our water out here. He also said to try starting to water down her formula in the middle of the night feed until it is pure water to have her stop getting used to eating at night like that... she can also start wearing sunscreen when she is outside.

I'm reading through her 6 month info page and apparently it is normal for them to "start waking up at night again." Huh I didn't know this ever stopped! ha ha

Anyway she is doing good, she was rolling all over the place and had her nurse quite impressed! She is in bed now for the night and has put herself to sleep with absolutely no crying when set in her crib WIDE awake for her last nap today and for bed. Hopefully we can continue working on this and she will learn her crib is where she goes to sleep. :)

We videotaped her this afternoon attempting to crawl- she is SO close!! She gets up on all 4 very fast and rocks and even puts one leg forward. It is so cute! She is such a happy girl!!
