Happy veterans day!

I don't have any pictures to post, but Olivia is growing up fast and you can tell not only with her size, but in her behavior as well! She doesn't need to be held constantly for entertainment anymore. I put her in her swing probably 30 minutes ago, and there she still is- swinging away!! I need to get new batteries for it though because the little fish mobile isn't working too good and I think it needs some more juice! She is looking pretty tired, so maybe she will nap in her swing today? She *never* sat in her swing for long before. Only if you set her in there totally asleep would she stay in there. Maybe John and I can eat a meal together now without taking turns, or racing to finish to pick her up, or balancing holding her and eating at the same time! Also last night she did something for the first time. She quietly played in her crib off and on for an hour before going to sleep and was in there for 4 hours before waking up this morning. yay! I hope she keeps that up. I guess they are right, things do start changing around 6 weeks! Oh and I just looked over at her- totally asleep in her swing snoring away. cute!

Anyway I'm sure I'll take pictures later today (I always do!) I have my 6 week dr. appt today at 220 pm so hopefully that goes well (and quick!) I will probably bring her in to the hospital tomorrow for a weight check. I'm curious to see how much she weighs since she doesn't bottle feed at all during the day with me anymore so I have no idea how much she is getting. Only at night does she get a couple bottles a night. I need to take care of her tonight. John took her until 2 am last night and he looks SO tired. He wants to help so much, and I appreciate it, but he needs to sleep too!

Anyway, happy veterans day everyone!
