John got home a little early today and the sun was shining- so we went to the park! We tried to put Olivia in the stroller but she wanted to be carried. So John put her in the baby bjorn and a sunhat and we were ready!

It was a fun afternoon! Olivia has been SO fun lately! She had a good afternoon with Amanda and me out shopping. Happy pretty much the whole day! I swear she is starting to say Mama. Just yesterday she started saying it in her crib, and then a lot today she says mamamamama over and over when she is sort of unhappy or talkative. It is so cute! Back to work tomorrow night. :(

BIG day!

Olivia had a big day today, she pulled herself up to stand all by herself!! Here she is right after (looking a little guilty). I watched her as I folded laundry. She crawled over to the fireplace, went to an area not covered by pillows, put her hands and and inched forward and stood! I called John right away since he has been trying to get her to do this. She has now done it again tonight with the coffee table with John watching. We are going to have to be extra careful now with our busy little girl!

She also went on a swing for the first time today! Brenna came over and we went up to the playground and had some fun. The sun was kind of bright though!

Happy Mothers day!

Happy mothers day! It is my first official mothers day (even though I was pregnant last year and John got me a pregnancy pillow!) It is so much more fun to celebrate it with Olivia! Here are a few pictures of me and my wonderful mom and John's mom!

What Olivia gave me. It is an outline of her body with painted stamped hands and feet. It says "happy first mothers day" and also says "now you will always know how big I was Love your baby girl, Olivia" SO cute!

Olivia and Brenna

Olivia and I went up to Kailub's house this afternoon for a little playdate with Brenna. They are both so cute to watch grow up together and discover each other. Brenna had a couple old credit cards that Olivia was VERY interested in. I guess she will have to get one for herself! Now they are getting a little more rough with each other too. Brenna pulled on Olivia's shirt around the neck and Olivia pulled Brenna's hair! Whoops! None of it on purpose of course, it was pretty funny!

quick update

Well I haven't updated in a while since I just got done with a 3 day shift. Only 2 off then back for 3 more! Above are some cute pictures from last month I wanted to share. Olivia is doing great. She is really crawling a lot now! She crawled from the office to her bedroom (chasing a cord) and crawled from the living room to the kitchen to see John while he was doing the dishes. She is still sleeping through the night or the most part. Had a couple nights where she woke up randomly at 0430, but that is still great! Still putting herself to sleep for most naps and night time too. We have been pretty busy with Olivia and working lately. The weather is getting nicer too, which is good since it seems like Olivia really likes going for walks. Last weekend John's aunt Elaine and cousin Elizabeth came for the weekend to see Olivia for the first time. Here are a couple pictures. We hope you are all doing good. I am excited for my first Mother's day (with baby). Last year I was pregnant so John got me a pregnancy pillow.

How Olivia fell asleep the other day! She was playing in her crib before her nap, and then I didn't hear her anymore. I looked on the monitor and she looked like she might be laying funny. She fell asleep sitting up with her head on her doll! Too funny. She stayed like that for probably 15 minutes or so before she layed down on her tummy and finished her nap. She is such a funny girl!
