past week

Diane and Svein came over on Tuesday thsi last week to watch Olivia for a few days while I worked that super crazy long stretch of work! I am sure glad that is over with! Anyway they left Saturday morning, but we still got to celebrate fathers day on Friday with Svein! Here are some pictures from Friday evening.

quick update

Well I haven't updated in a while since I just got done with a 3 day shift. Only 2 off then back for 3 more! Above are some cute pictures from last month I wanted to share. Olivia is doing great. She is really crawling a lot now! She crawled from the office to her bedroom (chasing a cord) and crawled from the living room to the kitchen to see John while he was doing the dishes. She is still sleeping through the night or the most part. Had a couple nights where she woke up randomly at 0430, but that is still great! Still putting herself to sleep for most naps and night time too. We have been pretty busy with Olivia and working lately. The weather is getting nicer too, which is good since it seems like Olivia really likes going for walks. Last weekend John's aunt Elaine and cousin Elizabeth came for the weekend to see Olivia for the first time. Here are a couple pictures. We hope you are all doing good. I am excited for my first Mother's day (with baby). Last year I was pregnant so John got me a pregnancy pillow.

And that was pretty much it with pictures from over the weekend! We had a fun time and it went by quickly! Olivia was tired from all the fun too. She slept 10 hours straight Saturday night and 8 hours straight last night. I hope she keeps it up! I can't believe my baby girl is 5 months old tomorrow!

Friday

Here is a recap of our Friday. Sorry the pictures are in order backwards!! It was Jenny's birthday on the 25th, so John's parents came out on Fridaya nd we went out to pizza and had cake at our house after!

Earlier in the day while we were cleaning the house, Olivia was having a fun time with a new-ish pacifier I bought for her. You can see how she likes to take them in and out of her mouth now!

My friend Kailub, her husband Joel and little Brenna (1 month older than Olivia) cam over for dinner and play time last night. We had so much fun hanging out, eating and talking and watching the girls! At 2 months and 3 months they don't interact much, but it will sure be fun watching them grow up together! It is also nice to know a couple with a daughter so close in age to Olivia. They brought over Brenna's bumbo so they could look at each other. That was pretty funny. They also played on the mat together. Olivia wasn't as active as she usually is since she was still tired from her immunizations, but she was a good girl and actually fell asleep on her play mat during dinner! Here they are having a dance off.

A special gift from one of Diane's friends at the Norwegian lodge- a Norwegian sweater and hat that she knitted!

Another very special gift from Norway. It is a cross necklace from Gunvor (not sure about the spelling) a relative in Norway. It was her necklace from her baptism almost 80 years ago! She had it specially engraved for Olivia!!

We bought this dress for Olivia the same day as the tree hugger onesie- the day we found out I was pregnant. It is a good thing she turned out to be a girl!

Here are some pictures from today. She is hanging out doing tummy time on her boppy. John's family came this afternoon from Seattle for Thanksgiving. I can't believe it is already Thanksgiving tomorrow!! She has a couple outfits for the occasion, I will be sure to take lots of pictures!
