This morning

It was such a pretty, sunny day with fresh snow this morning. I couldn't resist taking Olivia into it for a few minutes to get some pictures! John got to start late this morning so it was nice having him around for a couple hours too!

My mom made the sweater and Sandy made the hat! They look great!

Playground

We walked to the playground this afternoon and Olivia had so much fun! She is such a big girl pushing herself down the slide and playing in the bark. She was a little sad to leave but I have a feeling we will be taking her many, MANY more times to come.

Love this one. Looking so excited at daddy.

Loved the bark!

And throwing as much as she could on the slide!

See you another day park!

Fair

Everyone knows I love the fair. I was *so* excited to bring Olivia to her first fair! We went the weekend after my birthday and had a lot of fun! The weather was perfect an we got to eat fair food, look at the animals and walk through all the aisles of infomercial products. Olivia seemed like she really liked people watching and looking at the pigs. By the end of the afternoon she was tired of the stroller and wanted to sit on daddy's shoulders.

The shriners gave her a sticker

Free from the stroller!

Goodbye fair. See you next year!

busy weekend

We had a great weekend this past week. Jenny and I left Saturday afternoon to meet Julie and Madeline in moses lake at our hotel so we could carpool together to the gorge. About 15 minutes outside of Spokane, my rear car tire split apart on the freeway. Luckily John came to the rescue and we were back on the road in less than an hour. He is so handy! After a fun lunch at Sharis in moses lake, we headed to the gorge. It was so pretty out- but got pretty cold once the sun went down. It was Madeline's very first concert. How lucky to go to the gorge for that! We had a great time seeing Keith Urban and John Mayer- even though it was a little heavy on the guitar and got cold near the end. John is my favorite so he can do no wrong!

$14 margarita. Not kidding.
We headed home after checkout so we arrived in Spokane a little after 1. We had a birthday party to go to in the afternoon. Brenna is turning 1! That means Olivia will be next....

Birthday girl with her cake. She was very delicate. I don't think she got too messy!

Pretty cake Kailub made.

Olivia all dolled up.

After the party, we went over to Jenny and Nicks to have dinner with John's parents and their relatives from Norway- Elna and Ivar. So it was a busy day for sure! Olivia was ready for bed pretty soon after we got home.

park

A few more from the park last night and her in the baby swing.

last night and today

John got home a little early last night, so after dinner we took a walk up to the park. It was pretty hot, but I think Olivia had fun swinging in the shade. I took more pictures but somehow didn't upload them. She was in the baby swing for a minute by herself but she didn't like it very much since the opening is so big she falls forward and backward. She really liked swinging with us though!

These pictures are from today. I was cleaning up her room and saw her tutu. I thought why not have her try it on again and get some pictures? She has worn it pretty often for pictures so I think I have got my money's worth! It is hard to believe it still fits after 10 months- although I think it is pretty much stretched to it's limit!
I am holding her in this one and can't believe I caught this look on camera. She does this pretty often but it is hard to capture. Too funny.

Pretty girl. She loves to look outside.

With her doll from farmor.

Happy girl. So hard to get her to sit still these days!

Long legs and her tutu.

Look how big she is getting!

This took an act of god to get her to lay still for 1/2 a second. You can still see her blurry legs from her wiggling.

She was buy talking in this photo.
Those are some from today! I go back to work tonight and start my work 3, 2 off work 3 more stretch so I doubt I will do much updating. We hope everyone has a good week!

Sunday August 1st

Well this past Sunday after Julie's BIG birthday, we packed up the car with the 3 of us as well as Jenny and Nick and headed to the farm! There was a big celebration for Elizabeth graduating high school, as well as Kent being back from Afghanistan and Brook and Gunnar visiting Washington with baby Blake for the first time. There was probably a couple hundred people visiting so we got to see a lot of family. The weather was great and Olivia did awesome. She just played and played until she passed out while Diane was holding her. Then she was ready to go for the car ride home! Giggling and happily yelling all the way home. Too funny. Here are a ton of pictures in no particular order.
