NICU park playdate

After driving 5 hours or so, we quickly changed and headed to the park for our playdate! Olivia was *so* excited to go to the "waterpark." She calls it the waterpark because of the splash pad. Every time we go there she gets more interested in the water. I didn't think she would actually get in the water as much as she did this time!

Jake was pretty new and many people hadn't met him yet so he was definitely the star of the playdate! The girls seemed to gravitate towards him.

He is just the cutest! And Olivia was running around everywhere while I was trying to get a few pictures. I am glad she is getting more and more interested in the splash pad! Now she just puts her face in it like it's nothing!

We had so much fun but I was completely exhausted after chasing Olivia around for 2 hours and trying to visit a little with friends! Olivia took a nice long nap after all that running around!

Brenna came over yesterday afternoon and the girls had a lot of fun! It was funny seeing them interact since they hadn't seen each other in a couple months. At first Olivia seemed a little unsure and Brenna was a little shy, but they warmed up pretty quickly! Soon they were sharing toys and Olivia followed Brenna wherever she went. Brenna liked to read books and push the baby stroller. Olivia liked to touch Brenna's hair and dance! It was hard to get any pictures since a certain little girl wouldn't sit still. But you can get the idea! It is hard to believe they were such little babies not so long ago that would lay still for pictures!

It seems like in the last few days Olivia has really "found" the toys on her jumparoo. As soon as we put her in there now she quickly leans up to the toys and grabs different ones. Here are some pictures we took of her enjoying the toys and attached teether!
