Holiday decorating

I made this banner:
My glitter house collection. Love them!

Here are some pictures of decorating around the house. We didn't put out a ton since everything has to be up high away from little fingers. We also haven't bought a tree yet, and I am a little nervous how that is going to work out... We may get one today since it looks like John will be home a little early for once. I considered not even getting a tree this year, but it just isn't Christmas without a tree so I guess we better do it! I go back to work tomorrow night and then only have 2 days off before another 3 day stretch, so I will only have 2 days off between now and Christmas. Where id the time go!? I feel like I have so much to do and no time! I still want to make Olivia her stocking since hers is a "baby's 1st Christmas" one from last year. We will see if I get anything done!

Santa picture

Well this year's santa picture was interesting. Last year Olivia was a tiny baby who could care less who was holding her- as long as she was being held. Normally this is still true. She loves people, whether she knows them or not! In fact tonight at Target she was smiling at a stranger and putting her hands up to them for her to pick her up. Funny girl. Anyway, Santa was a different story.

Yes something about him scared her to death. He was very nice and even tried to give her a peppermint stick to cheer her up and she was having nothing of it. She normally also loves food. Not when this strange bearded man in a red suit wanted to give it to her! Oh well, my picture looks a lot like this from the same age. Now we have a picture to document how she reacted to santa at 1 year old. Hopefully she reacts a little better at 2!
