new pictures

Here are some pictures of the last couple weeks! They are sort of out of order, but you can get the idea. :)

Us on mothers day. Not the best picture, but its what I have! We went to the davenport for brunch after this and it was AMAZING!

At the park on bloomsday

With her new sand and water table. The stunned look is she just heard John. After this snapshot she quickly turned around! It was pretty funny!

Deep concentration

Another new thing she likes to do- put on mommys shoes.

Trying to feed sand to George

Not a good picture of me, put you can see she gives kisses!

At tumbling class last night with us. She loves it! We are in an evening class now so John can come and it is only the 2 kids in the group versus the last group weere in that had 11 kids! Its kind of nice to have so much attention!

She is very good at holding herself and swinging on the bar

Bouncing off the springboard

Olivia being silly. She was running and "hiding" from me by laying flat and still on the floor.

She was crazy about the camera that day too and kept wanting to see the "baby" on it.

That's all the pictures we have for now! She is so much fun and so silly and happy most of the time! We are so lucky to have such a sweet girl!

19 months

Here are some stats on our little Olivia at 19 months! No pictures, but I will upload some soon! We have some cute ones of her from mothers day and with her new sand and water table. :)

- weighs about 24.5 pounds, in the 56%

- wears 18 month clothes, and some 2T. Usually have to roll up the sleeves on the 2T clothes though!

- wears a size 4 diaper

- still sleeps about 12 hours at night and usually has one good nap of 2.5-3 hours in the afternoon.

- is still our active crazy girl! Runs everywhere, rarely sits down for long. Lately she is absolutely loving being outdoors playing with bubbles or her new sand and water table. She stands at the backdoor and says "side! Side!" it is hard to get her to come back in once she is put there though!

- has now had swimming and tumbling classes. She does great at both and likes them a lot! She has gotten good at her log rolling and hanging from a bar. I'm looking forward to signing her up for swimming again soon!

- still loves to eat almost everything. Doesn't like eggs at all and meat is not her favorite. ( she does love taco chicken and teriyaki chicken) her favorites are still yogurt that she feeds herself and probably cheese. She also loves her "snacks". She yells snacks and bangs on the cupboard door with her little cup until yup give her something! She knows what she likes! Usually she gets crackers and apple slices for a snack.

- her vocabulary has exploded over the past couple months! She will pretty much repeat everything and says a ton of words. Here is a list: no, please, thank you, dog, cat, momma, daddy, papa, Madeline, Julie, Nick, hi, binky, owl, book, ball, shoes, socks, shirt, wawa ( water), snacks, cracker, juice, ice, egg, elmo, outside, bye bye, see you, bucket, tractor, airplane, and truck. She also says uh oh quite frequently and " ucky" when pointing to her dirty diaper! I'm sure I'm forgetting several words but those are what I can think of! She also puts words together now which is fun. She will say daddy truck, mommy shoes, etc. It is so nice to be able to communicate with her a little! Oh and she also does all her animal sounds, but it very good with the chicken in particular with acting it out too!

- still has the bump on her bottom lip that she has had for months now, and is going to see an oral surgeon to have it removed. Who knew biting a lip could result in something serious? It seems to bother her a little, so we need to get it done. No fun for us or her! Poor girl! We have the consultation on the 26th and then we will see what the surgeon says about it!

- she has recently learned how to take off her pajamas in he morning so we come into her room with a happy bouncing naked girl! She is too funny.

- she also give kisses now which is the best!

- she makes us the happiest parents in the world and we couldn't imagine life without her. She makes us laugh every day! We love you sweet girl!

Professional pictures

Our neighbors daughter is a very talented photographer. We were so lucky she wanted to take pictures of Olivia for her portfolio! She is Jenn of Jenn Alberts photography in Spokane! They look so great!

I'm pretty sure Olivia was being a chicken in this one! She likes to act and sound out chickens.

She even took some pictures of my hair clips! They look so much better when she takes pictures of them than when I do- that is for sure!!

I love having so many pictures of my sweet girl and seeing how she has changed so quickly!! Thanks again Jenn we REALLY appreciate the work you put into these!

Easter weekend

I am so behind- I came on here to post some more pictures of the last couple weeks and realized today is Olivia's 19 month birthday! I am going to try very hard to get pictures of her later! I can't believe how quickly she is growing up. These are pictures from our Easter weekend. We took Olivia to her first easter egg hunt on Saturday where they divided everyone up into age groups, so she didn't have older kids running in front of her. :) She got the idea before we even put her on the ground- yelling "Egg!" She quickly knew to put them into her basket! After she got a couple though she was more interested in looking at all the other little kids. It was over in literallly seconds even though there were thousands of eggs on the ground. Thats ok though, she had fun!

Her very first egg:

Sitting with her basket of eggs:

Family picture after the hunt:

The next day on Easter at Dads house, Olivia is in her pretty Easter dress I bought last year!

Outfit change for playing and easter egg hunting (and also flying with daddy)

Another family picture. She didn't take off the ears surprisingly!

Checking out her special elmo egg.

random

I have been such a bad blogger because I have been so busy between chasing Olivia, working and now making hair clips and other things for my new etsy shop! Anyway we are all doing great over here- John is busy building a fence in the back yard, Olivia is running around talking more and more every day, and I am busy chasing her and taking her to play groups and tumbling class (as well as working). Olivia says tons of words now, and just today started saying "Elsie" and "off". I also felt inside her mouth and she is getting one of her back teeth! That will put her at 9 teeth, She has 4 upper front and 4 lower front right now. Here she is on the ferry heading to Vashon. Picture with daddy. Family picture!
Group photo with the kids on our way to the beach. Wussy Julie stayed inside the house.
Walking on the rocky beach with daddy.

Playing inside with Madeline. They love each other so much and Olivia even says Madeline (in her own way, but it is understandable!)
Being a ballerina practicing with the potty.

Stops briefly to stare up at the tv (elmo was on of course)
picture of us
she absolutely loves the ipad!
staring off today
Still kind of dazed with happy Elsie.
Giving Elsie a hug. She was so sweet and gentle for the most part with Elsie all day! She kept saying her name over and over and even fed her puffs (but ate more herself of course)
running through the park
the girls. 10 months apart.
Olivia learned TODAY how to climb up into the equipment and slide down the slide by herself! Scary but exciting also. She didn't know how to turn around so she went down head first. She even got off without falling at all.

That's all the photos for now, but I will try to add some more from previous weeks another day. Olivia is so much fun but active as ever! Like I said before, she is in tumbling and seems to REALLY like it! She ran and laughed pretty much the entire 30 minutes. She learned how to log roll and can do it by herself now! She loves the somersault mat and the little high bar. Fun times!

17 months

Here it goes. Olivia was 17 months old yesterday but didn't feel good at all. She was tired and had some sort of stomach bug. She was very cuddly though which was a nice change! She didn't want to eat much but I made sure she got some food in and lots of fluids. That is how she spent her 17 month birthday! Today she woke up like a new girl, happy and her normal hungry self. I am glad it seems to have passed quickly! She is still a little more cuddly, but I can't complain about that!

Here are her 17 month stats:
- weighs 23.2 pound on our scale. Must be losing a little due to how active she is!

-Still eats great. Loves pretty much all fruits, cheeses, some meets (like deli turkey and ham) loves peanut butter and mac and cheese. Not a big fan of banana and recently pears. She also doesn't like much cooked meat, but does like her chik'n nuggets (tofu).

-Is a crazy active girl, climbing everywhere, opening doors, etc. The other day at the YMCA she was in the daycare and they said she climbed up into the big fort several times and they were afraid she wouldn't get down! That's our climber! Also, she has started opening doors very frequently, so most are either locked or secured. She is allowed into her bedroom, the coat closet, and the towel closet. That's it! We had enough of her letting Martini out, getting into our bedroom, he bathroom, etc.

-She is saying many words, including mama, dada, papa, hi, bye bye, ba ba, balloon (sounds like ba-oon), dog, wawa for water, apple, all done, thank you, moon, and airplane. She has also said powder, cracker, and tractor several times. She is getting much better at repeating and we have noticed a big difference in her book reading. She can finally sit still enough to read through books and wants to go through some of them over and over.

-Her favorite book at the moment seems to be a baby color book. I think she likes the big pictures. She especially loves the tractor picture.

-She says dada all the time and runs to the door or window pointing outside saying dada. She knows that is where John comes form when he gets home! She also loves to wave at him form the window as he walks in.

-She took her first airplane ride 1 day after her 16 month birthday. She did great and it was a very long flight, but we survived! No major meltdowns as long as we had a lollipop to bribe her. She loves waving at all the people.

-She still absolutely loves the water. She loved playing in the sand in Hawaii and running into the ocean as well as swimming in the pool. We are starting her in lessons this upcoming Saturday!

- Has 8 teeth now! 4 on top and almost 4 on bottom. One is about halfway in.
-Still thankfully sleeps all night and usually has one nap a day. 2-3 hours if we are lucky!

- She gets more fun everyday and makes life interesting!! We love you baby girl!
